This illustration was commisioned by HOLALUZ as part of their project “Calendar of the Earth” for 2023. In this calendar, the year starts the 22nd of April, the day of the Earth. The most important day.

I was asked, like the other 13 illustrators who participated in the project, to share an aspect of my personal view in taking care of the Earth and the enviroment. I went to the very simple idea litter invading natural spaces and the act of picking it up as a small gesture of inmense love, even though sometimes feels like it won’t make a difference.
