600 Anniversary of the arrival of the Gypsy people to the Iberian Peninsula
As part of the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of the Roma People” in Spain, the Madrid City Council commissioned me to create a campaign under the slogan “Madrid, Roma tradition. 600 years of history that unite us”, paying tribute to the Roma community on the 600th anniversary of their presence in our country.
The aim was to recognize and celebrate the cultural, social, and linguistic mark that the Roma people have left on our city, while also acknowledging the historical injustices they continue to face today.
