Cover + Animation

This project involved creating the key visual identity for Data & Society’s report, “Doing the Work”, which investigates how teletherapy platforms are restructuring the labor and practice of mental health professionals in the US.

The challenge was to develop a cover illustration that visually captured the report’s core thesis—the shifting dynamics between therapists, patients, and the technology that mediates their relationship. The initial illustration was then adapted into an animation in collaboration with Guillamon Studio, extending the report’s reach and translating its dense findings into a dynamic, digestible format.
